just try first, and say u need to consider loh. ask yr frens go along with u? best is those who wear atas watch...sad to say this but most of them look at the watches first de. aiya. dun wish to go into this repeated topic again...so i can only recommend u those shops that are slightly more friendly. u can ask others for recommendation too...not too sure if other ADs carry zenith. but if cortina or hourglass carry it i recommend u millenia walk one...very friendly...
Suntec side is still under renovation isn't it? Is it completed?
Some tips:
1) Dress decently (just avoid sloppiness).
2) Do your research first (about the product, price and traits and / or similar products).
3) Be humble.
4) Be polite.
5) Show interest by asking to take a look at the watch and try it on.
6) Try to strike up a conversation with the SE. Asking some questions that you already know the answers to might also help.
7) Ask for a name card if you do not intend to buy on the spot.
Personally, I would not let a rude SE earn my money unless the discount is unbeatable. If you are not comfortable with the SE, try another AD, try another outlet to compare discount factors etc. If you wish to opt for instalment payment, check with them to see if there are any 0% interest credit card promotions (there is nothing wrong with paying via instalments, in fact, at 0% interest, I'd be a fool not to take it).
