Factor in exchange rate not necessarily already. I just okuse the safe rate of 1.3, ifact it's even more expensive.

You can offer a price and I got paypal funds, current exchange rate is 1.26

In my opinion (yours may differ), a bit too much to be paying for the Resco. Not much to offer in the aspect of materials used. Nor is there even a bracelet offered at the price point. This is in addition to the lack of minute markers (not sure if this is the right word) as well as the fact that the best nato straps available on the market can be bought rather cheaply.

At that price, I'd much rather be looking at the Sinn U1, JDM Seiko divers, Stowa Prodiver / Seatime, Steinhart (if you like PVD / DLC looks, can try the Ocean Black DLC at a fraction of the Resco's cost), Christopher Ward and a plethora of other boutique brands.

Those are very valid points! And I respect your opinion, of course! :)

Thanks for the recommendations of the other brands! Reason for me, of course, to consider this watch, is that for reasons, unknown to me, is that this watch appeals to me quite a bit! Haha! :s13:

Yes, that's the only worry that I have at the moment...

I will never know until I get it, though! :)

I wanna go Vivo Sincere try out the zenith captain winsor/moonphase but may not (most likely not) choose to buy on the spot leh.But this is my 1st time going alone to this kinda atas place to try on something and it can be quite a daunting experience if I end up not buying.

Any tips from bros here/feedback about the sales attendants at Sincere Vivo :s11:

dun worry. there is always a first time.

anyway sincere vivo sales ppl are not the friendliest around...i suggest u to go suntec try. went to suntec one before, the sales ppl not bad quite friendly.

just try first, and say u need to consider loh. ask yr frens go along with u? best is those who wear atas watch...sad to say this but most of them look at the watches first de. aiya. dun wish to go into this repeated topic again...so i can only recommend u those shops that are slightly more friendly. u can ask others for recommendation too...not too sure if other ADs carry zenith. but if cortina or hourglass carry it i recommend u millenia walk one...very friendly...

Suntec side is still under renovation isn't it? Is it completed?

Some tips:

1) Dress decently (just avoid sloppiness).
2) Do your research first (about the product, price and traits and / or similar products).
3) Be humble.
4) Be polite.
5) Show interest by asking to take a look at the watch and try it on.
6) Try to strike up a conversation with the SE. Asking some questions that you already know the answers to might also help.
7) Ask for a name card if you do not intend to buy on the spot.

Personally, I would not let a rude SE earn my money unless the discount is unbeatable. If you are not comfortable with the SE, try another AD, try another outlet to compare discount factors etc. If you wish to opt for instalment payment, check with them to see if there are any 0% interest credit card promotions (there is nothing wrong with paying via instalments, in fact, at 0% interest, I'd be a fool not to take it).

this one i more or less agree but it really depends on the individual. if he or she cant control spending then taking the installment might be a wrong thing to do. one might end up spending more every mth since he or she dun feel the pain....

Thanks for the suggestions! But is there a place where I can check the prices of watches? I tried to check online but those online sites all the prices vary by quite a bit and all in USD/EUR.Can I just use converter to find out the price in SGD or diff place diff price?

Confirm dont know PP ?

patek philippe watch | eBay

States people dont know PP ?

you confirm ?

Most ppl, I confirm. Ebay number of bids or listing only proves my statement.
A population of 300 million I expect to see say more than 20 million listed or hits.
I have been living here close to 2 decades and counting, only 2% of the american family make more than 250k. There plenty of joe in small city or ulu states that make much lesser money. U think they know? Or u living in states too like me and everyone u know heard of IWC and pp.
My pal working in LA also never heard of these watch brands beside rolex. Ppl not interested just wouldn't know.

brother. can go for installments one. most ADs offer them, just difference in which credit cards accepted oni. there are those who said pay by credit card get less discounts, which is mostly true, but there are some branches who give same discounts irregardless of cash or credit card, u just have to go dig and find it. hopefully u can find it.

actually pay with hard cash in full can get better discount cos credit card will charge their company certain percentage like 2 to 3%.

This is true. If you want a bigger discount quantum, can try to offer full cash payment. But if the difference is not enticing enough, skip that minimal discount incentive.
