To all those thinking about buying Visodate from online grey dealers:

Fake Tissot Visodate?

The fake looks real enough, until you scrutinise the details: the font of the day and date wheels is different from the real thing, and other irregularities. Sad to think that there are fake Visodates out there... :(

Both also nice!! But Nomos' movement is considered to be in-house, while the Stowa is powered by ETA (both apparently is based on the Peseux 7001). .

Stowa is using unmod movement, nomos did a lot of mod u cannot use 7001 parts on nomos.

Setting your life priorities right is more important, like paying off your home loan, etc.
What's the point of having a Patek when you are still deep in loan! Am I right? :)

Im the poorest among here. I dont even have a watch yet. The one i see that is affordable is only the visodate at $690. I have a credit card but every month half of my salary goes to feed the card, i hardly have any money in my bank, am i considered pathetic or a failure considering im nearing 40? :'( I dont know what life priorities are anymore, home loan forever paying dont seem to see any end. Boss scolds me everyday at work. And i feel damn lousy. Will getting myself a watch make me happier in life?

Be contend with what u have now. There are a lot of pple in worst situation than u. Some already a bankrupt in their 30s. Ask yourself, Do u NEED the watch or u just WANT the watch?

Yes, 40 & still useless, if thats what you mean. If i have a way, i wouldnt even ask. Maybe a watch may temporarily bring the pain away? No? If watch cant make a man happy, then what is the use of getting it just to tell time. :s11:

possibly im just trying to see if getting a watch can bring some joy to my unhappy life, and whether it can give me a little bit of dignity & direction which i have lost in life. Nope, i dont need a watch just to tell the time. Im quite sure people wont be looking at my hand most of the time & honestly im sure they cant be bothered what's on my hand, just the same way i cant be bothered. Watch or no watch on hand dont seem make physical difference. Just wondering does wearing watch would give a mental or physological booster? Just like effects of good coffee?

This is a very nice watch. I didnt like nomos for their very angular lugs but this looks to have some curves. May I know what model is this?
It's an Orion. The applied markers does not quite work for me - prefers the Tangente. But the Orion has a very nice curvy and shapey back.
