Metal bracelet
Predominantly black case
Not really into those divers or monsters cos it's too chunky/sporty
Would prefer clean cut and simple markers not dots

Having had a second look at the breitling, the font looks a bit kiddy. Although I still like the overall simplicity and colour

Maybe I wasn't precise enough. I'm more inclined towards something like the longines hydroconquest sport, where it's black face w tinges of red.

But i think that watch is way above my budget

Oh I meant I cannot appreciate the diver watch like the seiko monsters. Those appear too sporty to me.

No metal then again some brands has the option to switch into steel band like the damasako

How about the Swiss made JeanRichard Terrascope ? Bracelet, not a diver watch, lots of wrist presence but not too chunky, black dial but brushed steel bezel. Significantly less than S$5K at AD.

If you have to buy a watch without strong marketing brand behind it, eg. bremont, glycine, paul picot....
den dun pay more than $500.

cos alot of the perceived value goes into a brand itself and a regular stainless steel watch usually dont cost alot to make.

I guess not everybody sees resale value as no.1 priority in their choice. I personally don't care much about resale value if u ask me.

My stand is always: if you like it and you feel it looks good on you - go ahead.
