The tropik still haven out yet right. The only tropik I saw that's available on the web is the tropik bronze.. 645 usd
Tropik was due for a summer release. I'm not sure about the delay as I have not been following the project for sometime.

It should also about USD 645 too.

Buy in store need to hunt down store that carry it.
Smart ppl call others go down each store to find out if they carry it.
No need to wait a week just mins or at most an hour for bus or mrt.
Store have great try don't like walk out, store don't have disappointed and move on to the next.

Buy online u explain it all click in your chair and wait for it to arrive.
Watch ship to home or have to travel to collect it.
Don't like click on PC and wait for approval to return, travel to ship out watch.
More time involve here, buy in store worst case it traveling from A to BCDE to locate watch. More walking more traveling on bus or mrt.
Some ppl find buying online process easy others like u dislike the wait.
Enjoy your hunt!

Haha one thing I like about buy in store is that can inspect flaws. My c60 arrived with a scratched bracelet & bezel. Understand that the bracelet will be scratched as them idle links are highly polished but the bezel scratch was really too much. Plus aft wearing it on my hand it seems rather off. So send back lo. Fk sia, loss 70 bucks from the refund zzzz. Think that day conversion rate very low. Is it normal? The refund cost is in pounds so is see that day bank conversion de uh.

But when u add in the shipping charges of 65USD and then 7% GST at customs, it will come up to about $945 already. And should there be any issues with the watch, sending it back and forth for repairs will be a bitch...

Personally prefer buy in store, can try, can choose the piece with no flaws, can bargain for better discount. Only buy online if cannot find elsewhere or hunting for used one.

One thing about online is the prices are cheap.. Sometimes cheaper by 30%

Yup but unless from reputable online source u run risk of buying a fake, a frankenstine and also risk of getting damaged goods..

True.. And also the risk of cosmetic defects. At least in shops u can inspect it first hand. Frankenstein watches mostly for vintage ba.. Saw one vintage omega for 900.. Dk wan buy or not: but sibei unker. Gold case gold face.

Well, the perils of a small market.

There's the trade-off between available options and the inherent risks of online purchasing.

For Rolex, all AD will not issue official receipt/invoice if their discount goes above standard Rolex agreed/given discount?
This is standard practices in Singapore with all AD to issue receipt and invoice without model and serial number if discount is above Rolex discount?

I think it's because the brands control the pricing, so AD in theory not supposed to give better discount, otherwise who will buy from brand boutique stores.

For all brands they will not issue receipt if they were to go beyond the standard discount. It a standard practice everywhere the receipt is a evidence they did it and risk lossing Rights to carry the brand.

Yea that's the inherent risk of purchasing online.
Grey there is risk, online too.
Which is why AD still exist and can sell at a higher price.

It's the Longines Weems Second-Setting Watch. Powered by a automatic Valgranges caliber A07.111 and with a power reserve of 46 hours. Nice but maybe too big (47.5mm) for small wrist. :)

More pics here at WUS.
