Actually I admired those people who buy GS, knowing that the resale value is low and yet they still buy it.

Those are true watch collectors.

:D

Be prepared for breakdown and sending in earlier for servicing.

Not sure if this one will be better than those Chinese watch but using European/ US name, like Arbutus & Ingersoll... so far I think (my personal opinion) Ingersoll's finishing quite good, except my friend told me one of the pointer dropped after 2 months of purchased, then later on got water vapor... :s22:

Must have got a non authentic Beijing or seagull. If bought from official source usually cost more than Japanese brands like seiko, citizen and orient but actually not bad....

Anyway I paid a visit to Bras Basah, into Kwang Guan watch shop. VERY BAD service I got there.

The uncle (I guess is the owner?) is busy so may be is not my day that can't talk to him.

The person who served me is the very old auntie and a young girl. The old auntie keep telling me "Young man, don't look, don't compare, just buy it, I promise you DISCOUNT!!!" :s22::s22::s22: But I guess that's old auntie way so I just forget about it. (Despite she was chasing me all the way with her hard sell until I walk out from the shop)

As for the young girl, when I ask for the quotation, she only replied with a very ignoring, or "sien" tone, said:" You browse and make up your mind first, then come ask for quotation". I just wondering if I've been asking too many questions, but in fact I hardly ask them to show the watch! (I only got my hands on 2-3 watches throughout my journey in the shop)

Well I not sure if this is the usual way but I just don't feels like stay there any longer... (yeah all this while the old auntie still trying to hard sell me something...) :(

U go opposite to THG. Very very good service.

I go in twice asking for quotation and the SAs there served me tea to drink even when I am wearing a Casio.

Thanks. More than I'd like to admit. The Lange boutique at Ion quoted 65,000 SGD. I purchased it because there was a very significant discount from the quotation. Got it somewhere else.

Mind telling me where you got in the end and what is the final price you
paid for it after the discount given? Drop me a pm... haha;)
