Also a question to all watch gurus here...The Tag Heuer Carrera is using ETA movement or Zenith Movement ar?:s11:

Not sure if my query was missed, can the gurus here enlighten me pls. Went to Sincere at Vivo and was intro to the new Carrera and the sales rep told me that the new Carrera is using Zenith movement and the price point was like double that of the "older" model.:s22:

both watches are nice in fact...stowa is more quiet with its black bezel design.
steinhart on the other hand...louder due to its gold colour...
I like gold plated watches...but its damn difficult to maintain.
cant touch sweat...cant touch perfume... kaoz...

for work, I will wear Steinhart. on fridays n weekends, stowa

Do you have any bronze watch currently? If not then i think the steinhart will be a good choice. Do note that bronze will patina unevenly over time and not everyone likes that.

ya shld be going for the bronze, 44mm vs 40mm. stowa costs twice as much and quite troublesome.. need to open a fedex account to ship over. i read that in order for bronze not to patina, can just polish it once a while. actually the steinhart boss gunter recommended this to me cos i emailed him to ask if he still has the gold version. he replied he can slot me in for the bronze if i wanted it as the gold one will be no more in production.

the bronze got soldout too fast even before one can consider or think if he wants it anot, lol. thats how fast steinhart popular models gets soldout, cant even really have much time to think about it..

Um anyone with citizen nighthawks..?

My citizen nighthawk is slightly scratched up due to a few years of being my daily beater. Do you think citizen singapore would let me upgrade from mineral glass to sapphire..? I only know the US and UK has certain outlets that allows for this upgrade for USD$89.. the glass size is the same as there are euro & JDM nighthawks with sapphire glass.

If anyone got any lobang or any experience do tell me..
