Ask u guys, I have a tissot watch with leather strap. The smell of the strap is abit smelly due to wear. Is it possible when there is a sunny day and I place the watch under the hot sun to toast it? Just like drying clothes. So that the leather strap will not smell so bad.

i used baking soda + water paste to clean mine

in the end the black (rubber?) lining at the side of the strap peeled off lol

i prefer the old Bambino... the dial design for the new Bambino is too "noisy" for me...

Looks nice to me. Considering getting one. Btw, anyone has any recommendations for watches with such similar look? Vintage, Roman Character, Automatic self-winding, small dial, leather.

Nice watch, one of Omega's iconic design, very popular, so easy to sell off if you regret the purchase. This model in the link is the newer 8500 movement with Si14 so got 4 year warranty, but you should go to a boutique to try it on, as to me it is a very thick watch which is why i prefer the older generation of PO with the 2500 caliber movement.

Besides with the current pricing on these 8500 caliber Omegas i will rather cough up more $$ and swing for a Submariner or DDSD or even a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms; that's my current plan for next year anyway..

Don't deprive yourself of the satisfaction to be had from wearing thick, heavy watches. I was sceptical too until I got one...

How much would a fifty fathoms cost in Singapore?

I just checked with the Boutique at MBS and it's really deeply over price.

If I am not wrong, it's about $30K..................:s8:

Guys, anyone know any watch maker here you would recommend to change a face dial.

Or maybe if any watch lover here knows how to disassemble and assemble watch don't mind paying a small fee to change ?

Hey guys, is the tissot t-racer worth getting? Think it's 880 before discount. Really like the black one.

Continuing with my exploration of Chinese brand time pieces, my purchased from Tmall seagull store Seagull 819.317 with ST25 movement, hacking, winding automatic with retrograde date, power reserve and open heart/flying wheel. Nice watch, very impressed with the quality and accuracy. So far it runs at +1 sec per day....

Not bad for a cheap dress watch..colleagues found it prettier than my omega hourvision..

But spending a few K on a Quartz..........................:s8:

Well if accuracy matters to u..GS quartz quite tempting, +/-10s a year and 50 years service interval I think? Your ultimate grab and go at anytime watch. Hope to add an anti magnetic GS quartz model to my collection sometime next year
