Nomos jwatch should have some, stowa online order only wait 3 mths to get watch

Nomos also can order from AD wait can take up to 3 mths too. I waited for mine like 3mths

That's because 2836 is a non-GMT movement, most ETA watches with GMT functions come with the 2893 movement.

Is 2824 < 2836? Just curious.

Hey guys what do you all think about the new Orient Aviator Flight series? I particularly like the blue one ER2A004D

I'm in my early 20s studying in uni, I don't think I need a very expensive watch, doesun't fit my current student status. And I'm a sporty person, so I think this really suits me. What you guys think? And where can I get this watch? Is ordering from Island Watch safe? Thanks for the advice!

Just wear the watch u can afford. Status whatever
U can find rich ppl wearing cheapo Timex and u think don't fit his status, to him so what. U not getting his money, he still get to enjoy his $$. Not dying also

2836 is day date not hard to mod the day function to work as GMT hand
2824 and 2836 is same only diff is the day wheel

2893 and 2892 is same family, hard to find cheap GMT watch

Anyway u can get a used watch for tis model

if you are very particular about quality and tactile feel, this isnt the watch for you. the watch is very light, it lacks heft and weight of a solid watch. the finishing is not as remarkable as omega.

the crystal has a domed convex surface, there is difficultly reading time at side angles.

however, if you discount the above, it remains a good product.

there is another alternative. 2.2k after discount if you can bargain smartly.

Around $10-12k b4 discount, these on base on ETA 7750

Chopard just release base in house movement but prices on a simple 3 hand steel leather band cost us$14k b4 discount

Explorer II (First choice tied Love the white face)

Chopard Pro One LUC GMT (Looking for modern alternatives to GMT Master and AVOIDING Omega but out of my budget)

Chopard GT XL Power Reserve (ETA movement but love its modern look and AVOIDING Tag Heuer)

Anyone know of any good alternatives under 10K (Rolex i am going for preowned so its not an issue)

The GMT chrono prices overseas is pretty attractive Valjoux 7753. Any other Chrono GMT around?

Ebel is discontinuing their inhouse Chrono, the rights is sold to Ulysse Nardin.

omega at $2k+?? the ones i see are like 8-10k range.

anyway, i'm looking for a first watch. i saw the tag carrera after disc at about $5400. i absolutely love the design but the price tag is what hindering me from buying. i felt first watch at 5k is kind of too much. my budget for a first watch is hopefully at 2-3k, so that 5yrs later i can upgrade to a 5-8k watch. then again, i could go for a 5k watch now and dont have to change for the next maybe 8-10yrs.

i saw the seiko astron, that is also a nice watch. anybody know where sells it and i could go take a look?

lastly any recommendation for a 2-3k watch brand, preferably recognizable brand.

nice try there, u mention if buy the 5k watch now, then wait another 8 to 10 years before committing again. not easy u noe, 8 to 10 years leh, not 8 to 10 mths ok. talk is always easier than action, trust me, i been there before so i know it. LOL!

look for a 2 to 3k watch first bah, then slowly slowly increase yr collection.
