Already emailed them for the price...their location is rather off though, and their operating hours are office hours...have to take leave to go see and buy if interested!

Anyway, I did manage to take a pic of my mom's old roc (79173?) which she bought from P**g K**e years back...

Was thinking of getting the men's version of the piece and found one at Champion Time...is this shop at Bencoolen reliable?

I have both. Start with one and save for the other one. Both are good watches. As mentioned previously, buy what you can afford and like.

Hmm. Good idea. Saw my friend bought rolex deepsea, I guess, coz I nv ask him juz happened to beo it.. Look very solid as compare to my Hamilton khaki x Mach sio.. But I love the IWC design..

Looking to get a decent watch. Tag heuer or omega, which is more worth? Would appreciate some feedback, thanks

Omega between the 2 brands. And I have a soft spot for dive watches, so the PO gets my vote. The current PO8500s are very nice with a significantly higher price to boot (as compared to the older PO models). Can also consider the PO2500s too.

My mum has a similar Datejust, bought more than 15 years ago and has never been serviced before. Has been dropped, still working fine (or so it seems). Damn bloody durable Rolex!!

"Inspired" by my mom's nagging for CNY spring cleaning, I finally managed to dig out the watch box (gift from ex colleagues, so I dont know how much it costs), and tidy up the space.
But, knowing me, this will prob last only 1 week, before the watches get chucked into the drawer :o
