2nd that. Our luxury goods (including watches) are meant for the elites from our neighbours (i.e. Indon, Viet, Thais, even Malaysians) as it is more expensive back home and we have wider variety.

Im a iwc fan s i will take the 3778 in a hearbeat.....zenith i prefer their other ranged though....but not their pilot....head over to hk?? Ashford.com also sells it

Hk is best place t buy everything except rolex.....there ur minimum savings is 7%....due to their country jot having tax....but if u noe ur stuff well...u can actually get lots of discounts....

Go the ADs and boutiques a few times, and try on both watches before making a decision. Even better, if U did side by side comparisons. Doesn't matter what we think, it only matters what you think. Only you can be satisfied with your purchase. Everybody has different requirements as not every watch wears the same way on every person.

After which, then you try to find the best deal for what you want.

The IWC is somewhere around 17k . Nice watch, but ridiculous price. Zenith is MUCH better bang for buck, and so are the glashutte original pilots.

Sg price is pure mark up...iwc 3778 can get about 12-13k in hk...lower if u hve lobang

But tbh this year not good to buy pilot...the trend of it is so high and it being year of pilot shops will wanna earn as much as possible... Now good time to buy igeniuer before it hits next year

i question iwc quality control , after my bad experience with their product

maybe its a one-off case where i got the defective watch. but they take so long to recitfy and 1 problem come one after another..

better check yr new watch before buying

Hi watch collectors,

Been away on business trips and just got back from Europe. After numerous business meetings, I ventured into distance run down areas, dangeroous but yet fruitful to find rare unique pieces around. I got a dozen of rare pieces of everyday people's watches. This is one of the many pieces I found from an old gentleman selling vintage things. It is not moving of course but the thrill of restorating it will be a joy.

What I like about vintage pieces is the company will not produce them again and therefore the numbers out there are limited by itself. Even if the company reproduce them, the prices will be many times you paid for vintage. One thing, the company cannot reproduce, the age of the watch.
