FC open heart are not limited editions
U can find them in your budget, u cannot afford the heart beat manufacture range. They are 6k after discount.

The non open heart manufacture u can afford
FYI they do make tourbillion unlike RW that don't.

Actually theirs is not real tourbillion. Theirs is just open heart.

Is the CTT for Rolex standing for ceramic two tone? That watch can only admire from far. The black and gold may be a bit too flashy for work.

get one that you like, regardless of movement.

I'm new to automatic watch, since is my first automatic watch. Read a lot online that automatic is complicated compare to quartz watch. So worry that I doesn't know how to operate it & worst spoil it.

Not really complicated. The difference is basically between these two would just be the second hand. Automatic - Sweep movement. Quartz - Tick movement.

For a start, i would suggest you to get a affordable automatic, at ~$200, such as the Orient Bambino. Trust me, i had one, and i loved ever since i bought it few weeks back. Even if it spoils or whatever, just buy another one lo. $200 only.

I have several quartz fashion watches, and automatic is one which gets you addicted. trust me. It's something like, the watch has a life in it. Get those watches with a caseback and you will understand what i meant. Trust me, you will get poisoned and go on the never-return path on the more expensive watches like many bros here.

Good luck.

I'm kind of in love with FC. What is the price range for their classics onwards? And Which watch shop has FC?

Their Classics collection (pictured) starts at <sgd1.5k after discount. The Hour Glass is their exclusive distributor in SG.

they have a special edition slim line watch for WUS:

Cool story behind it too.

Actually theirs is not real tourbillion. Theirs is just open heart.

i believe patryn is stating the fact that FC manufactures their own tourbillion:
http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/introd...slimline-tourbillon-manufacture-specs-pricing
not that the model they are talking about contains one.

anyway FC invented the open heart concept but didn't patent it so other brands copied it

Unless you are starting a new hobby of watch collection or you appreciate mechanical movement else I do not see why you have to worry too much about auto or quartz. Both keep good time when you need them, +/- few seconds. Buy a watch which you like and within your budget. If u still worry then go for quartz.

I have a Citizen eco drive for years, did nothing to it as long there is light, the watch will run perfectly.

As mentioned earier, I have Explorer II and Breitling SO. I need to alternate them for obvious reason. They both need my TLC to keep going :D

Unless u go for deep sea driving or extreme sport, wear it as normal, nothing will spoil your auto watch. Quartz watch can be complicated too in term of features.... :D

Not trying to start a flame but auto vs quartz has more differences other than the second hand movement.
