I think 6k to 7k can buy the basic classic fusion right? Lol

No comments on hublot but i think their designs will be/are in demand.

If hublot is willing to come up with basic and cheaper models, i think they will have a good market to fight and establish a foothold in luxury sports watch segment

At their price range, there is alot of alternatives watch companies with true in-house movements and established histories.

Loads of Speedmasters except moon watch , seamaster at 8500, high end devilles

I find it very ridiculous for them to charge astronomical prices for a watch like this.

4,400 SGD retail? Damn ridiculous.

This one was selling for 8,200 SGD retail.

Wtf. Watches are so expensive nowadays.

i think the new exp 2 has very little counterfeits.

milgauss has alot of fakes.

go for the hour glass sale la. you may just find something you like...

i went during night time. less crowded..

If you wanna get a rolex...their build quality is improving. Their New rolex exp 2 and new exp 1 is very well-made and solid to the touch...

Its a serious challenger to the aqua terra 8500 or even PO 8500

not sure as i only wanted to buy selected models and left within 10 minutes...Didnt want to spend so much time as their previous sales have been disappointing, or maybe my expectations were high

wow i didnt expect u to give good feedback for rolex after all the insults u gave it

seriously speaking the exp 1 very boring leh. it looks just like any ordinary watch. explorer 2 is nicer i feel. rest of the other rolex models do not excite me they are too uncle-ish and like what u say too many fakes out there especially for the mainstream models. and after the disappointing trip to hourglass sale i went to another hourglass outlet to try the explorer 2 it sure feels damn solid.

but i also have in mind the omega de ville series...but omega is really pricey leh it is almost touching base with the rolex pricing le zzzzzzz

Probably not a good time to bring up this topic, but where is a good (ie reliable and reasonably priced) place to look at used Rolex pieces?

I am looking to get one for my dad...he had something like a 16233 quite a while ago...

I was thinking of getting him the new release 116233 but itz really quite pricey for a new piece ($14k-ish)

I read that Peng Kwee is not really a good place to start, but they do have quite a number of used Rolex...any where else I should look?

Also, is buying brand new piece from HK really much cheaper?

While Peng Kwee is not a good place to start. I think no point really to buy a similar watch though slightly newer model. Why not consider other designs?

Probably a TT GMT II Ceramic? Half gold and still pretty trendy

Get rolex if you want the attention and value.
IWC is more of personal preference.

For me, I will choose IWC anytime though. Classic design, understated and not so common on the streets.
