Found this piece in Sungei Road from an old gentleman.

I had the battery changed and surprisingly it is still working. It is a bit dirty and needs a good cleaning with all parts remove. This is the picture with the bezel removed.

Hopefully, got the time to restore it to its formal glory. We shall see.

Saw this watch whilst watching Person of Interest drama serial so got intrigued and researched a bit.

Thinking of ordering one! :)

I guess the huge premium markup is probably based on the fact that the seals use it.

A seal is behind the design and some 90 seal use it, it is not a standard issue by the US army.
Fact Most seal wear a Casio DW-6600 lol. so casio better than above? Lol
It's all marketing ploy lah.

@ Patryn33: Thanks for the quick research. I have also noticed that when I did my research on the history of the watch and the parts that they use. It does go through a tough testing phase with the SEALs but it isn't the "official" watch for them.

@ xtwis7: I believe it definitely is a marketing ploy and a good one at that! All the attributes of the watch that he wants to market reflects on the ethos of the SEALs and since SEALs is a brand name by itself, it does bring up the visibility of the watch & its company to the rest of the watch world.

I am intrigued with the brand and this could be my daily watch instead of my Tags. Now praying for a big bonus! :)

In my opinion (yours may differ), a bit too much to be paying for the Resco. Not much to offer in the aspect of materials used. Nor is there even a bracelet offered at the price point. This is in addition to the lack of minute markers (not sure if this is the right word) as well as the fact that the best nato straps available on the market can be bought rather cheaply.

At that price, I'd much rather be looking at the Sinn U1, JDM Seiko divers, Stowa Prodiver / Seatime, Steinhart (if you like PVD / DLC looks, can try the Ocean Black DLC at a fraction of the Resco's cost), Christopher Ward and a plethora of other boutique brands.

From someone with small wrists, it is a pity that Fricker / Fricker-styled cases tend to have long lugs and may not be suitable for most Asians.
