Wrist Watch

Has anyone bought off this shop before?

I am considering making an online purchase.

lol, the price is at least 100 bucks cheaper siah for the tissots. When things are too good to be true, they (mostly) are. Big ticket item, i think it's best to go down to an AD, got the 'peace' in your heart + after purchase service. Blog sites like these are realllllly super super dodgy.

Yea just my 2 cents

I was quoted by 1 shop at The Bencoolen for a price of 740 sgd for the Visodate.

Haven't had a chance to visit the other outlets yet. Can't help it, really falling in love with this lovely watch.

Ebay seller (top-rated somemore) selling at 550 sgd including delivery

Yo, 700++ is standard price. Now vincent watches got 15% discount. Original price is bout 860-70.

I agree is a beauty. I'd say 550+/600+ all i dun trust. Too good to be true. Im paranoid boy tho haha.

I m not so keen on the bracelet cause I have another bracelet watch. That's why I m looking into the vintage leather strap . But yr opinion on the leather strap is not good right ?

Wa afternarket strap u looking at ? I m thinking maybe a dark brown strap with red stitching will fit it nicely

I have done alot of online shopping for other Ebay stuff, so I dare to trust ebay. Somemore paypal favors the buyer, as long as something is not right, I can confidently get fully refunded.

The question is, do I pay 600 bucks for Ebay, but have to wait about 1.5 weeks. Or do I pay 700++ bucks in Bencoolen, and get extra support and service.

I am not familiar with the Nomos movement. Just read from some sites about others complain of the inconvenience of the date. For example, if today is 21 and the date on the watch is 19, do u need to advance the hour hand 48hrs to make it go to 21?
With an ETA movement, one just advance the date to 21.

Nomos just have to adv hr from 9pm to 12am and go back to 9pm by other direction and back to 12am to set date. No quick set like ETA where u just roll the crown from 21 to 22 and so on.
On zenith, u can roll crown back and forth 21 to 20 to 19.

OK, I see. Not too much hassle then.:)
I was thinking one needs to advance 2 full round to in order to move the date from 19 to 21. That will be too much inconvenience.
