is this watch good & affordable? Where u buy from? i will like to have a nice watch with good value. Cant afford much becos im low income earner. Currently only has a Gshock casual watch for weekend. I dont wear watch to office. I dont collect watches. Just look look see see if got a good nice one then i hoot.

hmmm frankly i saw quite alot of look alikes to this tudor design leh, eg rolex, and some other beands imitation. HOnestly which brand came out with this kind of design first?

Where can i get look alike from? $4k seems a bit high for me unless u tell me its really worth the value.

i would recommend a rollie or iwc any time tbh especially if ure planning go for only one watch...but of coz price will go up...the blackbay definitely can be used with office wear

At this pricepoint, i can only think of Maurice Lacroix to compare with..
Not sure if ML has your required design criteria...

You can get a Sinn 358 Sa chronograph (Valjoux 7750) for just a little more or 2 unit of the new Oris Big Crown pointer date 2013.

Same here. My very first automatic watch was an Oris big crown with the plexi glass crystal which I got in 1993. And it cost only S$475 back then.

Didn't know they are a fashion brand? Thought they've been making watches for over 150 years.

Sinn358 face is too busy. Looking for a dress watch.

The Oris is nice but the brand is well, a bit 'old' - like Titoni. I remember years ago I'll see Titoni branding every night just before SBC news starts! "Time by Titoni/Raymond Weil".

I did consider ML but none appealed to me.

GS s are nice, but I'm looking for a 'Swiss' brand.

Looking for the right watch is tough! Am hoping to make the purchase this Saturday but I'm not sure if it will happen. The B&M Cliftons jumped right out at me when I saw it in a magazine. But I was somewhat taken aback by the price. $3000+ is no small change to me so I'd better ask around a bit more ....

They move into the fashion watch brand for quite a period and it's very difficult to shake of that image now.
I always associate them with Pierre Balmain watches! Don't know why?
