hi guys can anyone recommend me a watch as a gift for my gf? budget is less than 300

she likes brown leather straps, circular watch faces and dislike small watchees. (normal sized watches should be ok)

define normal size. it's subjective to individual preference. Perhaps can check out shops like city-chain or watch sections in Tangs. You will probably be looking at fashion brands like Guess/AE, etc.

thanks for the quick reply, normal size would probably be like not those super small ones.. and also not those super huge ones for guys. anything inbetween should be ok

i dont really want to get a watch from those fashion brands though, any other brands that are like more specialized in watches?

Get the orient bambino... it's in the low 200s.

you want any aftermarket strap or must be breitling?

if first option, check out Hirsch straps.( Hirsch Straps) highly reccomended by watch enthusiasts. decently priced as well.

i ordered mine from amazon + some other stuffs = free shipping. cost me about sgd$50 for the strap alone. paid some neighbourhood watch shop $2 to change it.

don't go to local dealers to buy the strap. chop carrot head.

What is your choice and why? For the explorer, between the Polar and Noir, what's your poison?

Depends on individual preference. Sub tends to look sportier than Explorer II.
I am very tempted by the new blue/black GMT :D
