Very big - 44mm. Was contemplating it when it was launched but doesn't look good on me. Personally still prefer the more traditional look for rolex watches. Maybe because I'm an uncle already. LOL

This one is 20k+ iirc. Was tempted when the ss version was announced as the initial launch was only available in precious metals.

I feel the ym2 kind of grows on me :) but I'm considering other choices at this price level hehe...

Prefer Explorer / Sub / DSSD / Milgauss any day over this.

The boldly-emblazoned YM words on the blue ceramic bezel is quite the turn-off.

But yeah, agree that it's rare to spot one in the wild. Perhaps it's appeal and price leading to the demand and subsequently the rarity.

I'm thinking the ss one will be popular cos of relative affordability over the precious metal ones. It's a ground breaking bold design for rolex though. This one has more of a regatta feel than the YM which looks more like a Tag.

I'm keen in sinn u1... anyone selling please pm me...
Should be an easy find on SWX and SGROC. But be warned about the sub-par and splotchy lume if you're a lume-head.

Yeah the YM's bezel was the problem.

Yes it is. For the same price there're more choices out there.
Good for you if it grows on you :)

I remember there's a TT at collectorstime about 20k+

Why buy a watch to torture yourself by paying installment ?

not enough money, buy simple watch

enough money , buy your dream watch.

some simple watch also very nice.

Casio G shock also very nice.

iirc only the santos galbee comes in steel bracelet, the regular santos 100 in its various sizes come in leather strap (the carbon comes with kevlar strap i think).

u probably have to fork out the higher end of your budget at least.

Good choice - but I would recommend the leather since he already has a sporty bracelet watch :)

You can find a few preowned ones going about 5-6k. (Bought my wife's santos for close to 7k, brand new from THG - could not find a preowned piece then)

Monster time gallery has one and they do 6 or 12mths instalments with citibank. Let me know of u wanna buy - am a personal friend of the proprietor ;) will ask him for discounts for you.

thanks buddy

collectorstime IIRC, sold three - 2 old size and one grande (new size)..... and I just wasn't fast enough. had been watching their site for many many years. actually emailed them to keep me updated but till now no news :(

yup saw the one on chuan watches but like what you said, it's not yellow gold. An antique looking piece like this should be yellow gold, IMHO..... (cheaper also hahaha)....

yup...IIRC the leather strapped santos is the special 100th anniversary - turns out to be a big hit.

the santos was originally on bracelet.

Hi have u tried watch shops? I'm not sure exactly which one but can ask around.

Deployant buckles should not be too difficult to find. Let me find a couple of strap makers and see if they can help.

Edit
Found one:
http://www.strapcode.com/store/

Depending on the size of your watch lugs, best is to get in touch with them. All the best!

Edit again
Its 20mm. The url i gave u has 20mm size straps with deployant buckle. Happy searching!
