only the inner disk (hence the watch's name) rotates, with its cut-out exposing and matching the radial sunburst rainbow colors that make up the watch's chapter ring to indicate hours. nice. :)

no hacking seconds.

not haute horologe, no fancy anglage, no geneva waves, no gorgeous guilloche, no pretty perlage, but hey, at least orient manufactures their own movements, afaik.

Interesting concept. I like interesting watches.
First heard of orient when I was working in Japan - somewhat unique designs.

why buy from watchesofswitzerland? Crazy lol should buy from sincere and hourglass to build RS, so can build up RS to buy more expensive watches.

Unless the discount is really damn good la

Hi, I would be getting my first tag heuer at watches of switzerland, can anyone advise on the reliability and after sales service of this shop? Getting it at the tampines outlet..

After you made the payment, there's not much after sales service from these retail stores. If you encounter any issues with your Tag, they probably refer you to Tag Heuer Service Centre.
If it's small problem like adjusting the bracelet, maybe the store will do it for free.

It's an entry level orient, not orient royal

IMHO

your dad, myself... been there, done that. We probably learnt from life experiences that we should just save and get the best; or the next best.

what your dad probably forgot was the journey - letting you walk the route yourself.

honestly if I can turn back time I'd just forget all the other watches and get a black sub first. but I wouldn't have learnt this lesson if I hadn't gone down this path.

like i said before....enjoy the process ;)

Haha, but problem is Idk how to explain to him that I don't really like the design of the aquaracer anymore.. :s13: thats why I went for a c60 instead. I hope the charcoal bezel is a right choice tho. Else return shipping exchange for a black bezel very mafan :s22: picked charcoal cus I don't want it to be like an exact copy of a submariner/aquaracer/seamaster..

Tag heuer brand is widely acknowledged due to marketing and is known to have that bit of resale value too. Aquaracer has wrist presense too.

But tag heuer done alot of price increase and discount cuts....

So i would rather you buy omega/tudor/sinn/breitling/baume mercier instead.

And tag is usually worn as a cheap luxury watch that people use as a beater until it gets alot of dings.

Anyway, c60 is a connoiseur watch, its not really a luxury watch per se...so really hard to compare.

Its like having preference for junghans/nomos over baume mercier/maurice lacroix
