after looking around and sourcing for orient watches, finally saw a model which caught my eye. (mako was too small, and mako xl a tad too big). this model was probably inbetween their size, and looked fairly similiar. copped it from bras brasah following one bro's recommendation, from the friendly boss there. copped a black nato strap as well.. orient orca

Congrats! That's a real pretty Orient. Love the positioning of the day and date on Orients.

I confirmed with the seller.
Hope to deal this Friday for this lady 37.5mm size omega 600M.

Doese the helium valve need maintenance? Need to recharge helium often? Cost?
Umm helium release valve is unscrewed to allow helium gas accumulated from saturation diving to escape from the watch to prevent it from going boom from pressure or something like that la. Redundant for desk top diver like me.

Going rare go micro brands! Cyma is just rare here and not loved, it's like titoni. All runs on eta much like those micro brands

Or ulu brand such as epos, frederique constant, louis erard

Not sure how 'ulu' relates to watch brand, but Frederique Constant is probably far from 'ulu' however it is defined. Check out their slimline manufacture. If you crave a low-priced moonphase watch, this is it (if you like the 42mm size, that is)

FC is slowly growing its base..who knows? They probably might command a premium 10yrs down the road if their marketing strategy works?

I quite like it and i've told my gf to look out for it in Geneva.

Worth it as a tool watch.
Popular as there is a AD here get to view b4 buying.

No fear of buying without seeing I like Chris ward better, 5 yrs warranty vs 2, plus they cover cost if shipping back. Great return policy if u don't like it. Better yet wait for sale can hoot 30% cheaper. Steinhart not known to have sale. I like the Gmt version but all sold out.

An interview of their CEO sometime ago, they have no plans to move up the lux line.
