You meant too ex or too cheap?

I think my colleague has one (boy size), he wanted to give to his adult son, who does not want it. I jokingly offered $2.5k to buy from him. What's the market rate?

Men size semi gold I don't think so cheap.

I last time checked with a 2nd hand dealer that a 1999 Rolex Sport Semi Gold Boy size can sell at least $5K and it's a Boy size.

Darkangle, where can i get press tool? i use tool to open watch back cover to change battery, now cannot close back cover. 1 small shop at JE charged $10 to close back cover for 1. Any shop can help?

i use below to change strap
pr_4939_1180-rios1931-spring-bar-tool-leather-watch-band-strap-maker-pin-bars-tools-bands-straps-watches-repair-pins.jpg

But you got it done at the JE shop right? No point buying the tool cos it's not cheap and you don't use often it's quite a waste of money. Go to the more old school shops, probably cheaper.

gt any universal ones??????

Depends on the size which you need. No one-size-fits-all

Interesting choice and great taste! You are one who truly appreciate watch making. Not like others who simply worship the mainstream and like to flaunt. Respect!

Up and coming brand though.

I tend to disagree, as long as you like it, doesnt really matter if you are a fanboy of a particular brand la... if you bought it, flaunt it lor... else also wasted right..

No one can predict how the brands will do, could be going the way of Franck Muller

Nice choice!

/thanks

fwah  cn share dmg?

near 50% off list price :D ... not from AD

FM doing bad? Global scene not too bad doing well.
There was a lot of hype in sg but that's sg, internationally wasn't that crazy hot.

Not sure globally, but i think it is overhyped a few years ago, now the interest in FM is rather lukewarm, and they had some financial troubles during the asian crisis period.
Heard from some dealers that asian buyers of FM now mainly from China.
