We both got it at $210.
I feel its good value for money. Everyone I asked was shocked at the price. The domed crystal is something that really makes the watch quite nice.
Any idea how much is this JLC perpetual in steel and RG ah? Nice leh.
All looking at Orient! Anyone knows how much does the Orient Star Retrograde cost?
TT01 would have been proud but alas he is MIA. U only had eyes for iwc perp when u was hawking this to u

honestly I still have eyes for the IWM perpetual calendar.......![]()
The budget is really comfortable. You've any idea what size of watches she like? The bigger or smaller ones? If she is fine with the bigger watches, Yatto's Orient Bambino is a contender. They do have a silver version IIRC.
Some other brands you might want to consider include Titus, Seiko (especially their Seiko 5 line. Some really good looking watches that are at the low end of your budget) and Tissot. I think this should still be within your budget.

Tried the IWC Perpetual Calendar. Find it too thick and to heavy for my liking (not like I'm gonna spend that amount of $$$ buying it).
Actually I've always preferred heavy and big watches. The nautilus was quite light for me...
But for that price I also dont feel like spending on an iwc...
Deepsea seadweller might be your thing then. saw it the other day. its like rolex interpretation of king g shock. so chunky so much goodness.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look up Tissot. We went on line to check out what's out there. And then she suggested looking at watches in three different price ranges:
~ $1000
~ $5000
~ $10,000
As for the office daily wear, she has a Rado and will stick to it.
I'm in serious trouble .....![]()
