Hmm I get what you mean.. the reason why I want to change to a solid version is because the original one look and feel extremely fragile. Woah 1.1k years back, I guess its more than that now :s22: btw how much do you reckon a polishing service will cost? Is it worth it to be polished by rolex or I can just go somewhere else to do it at a cheaper rate?

For rolex 3135, 3035 (date and time) movements, I believe it is relatively safe to get your servicing done outside of RSC. These movements been around long enough for there to be enough ex-staff who ventured out to know how to service. For polishing all the more don't need go back RSC. You should be able to find out about some of the popular shops from SG ROC.

Buying of parts then I suggest RSC for piece of mind unless one is knowledgeable to buy elsewhere (eBay etc), as well as more complicated movements like the daytona or day date (which you would have spent a bomb on anyway).

Yup. Both are SGD and both are B4 GST.

Hmm then it is indeed strange. Both are non-AD?

Are there variations to the model that you may not be aware?
Perhaps older stock even though same watch?
Just some things that came to my mind.

Anyway, you can try ask Skywatches why so expensive (or Creation why so much cheaper) if you really not comfortable.

Reviews please

Not really good at writing reviews. Pebble Steel (PS) has the same function as the original Pebble Watch. PS has a better build as it is in stainless steel. Lug to lug is shorter. PS has an additional LED indicator to tell us the charging status.

You are able to install 8 watchfaces or apps via iOS or Android. With the latest 2.x firmware, installation and management of the modules is much easier with the simple UI.

1 complain about the new PS is that it has a propriety lug such that you cannot use your own strap. The provided metal bracelet is of lesser quality. It's a hollow folded metal bracelet.

Hmm I don't think its a 3135/3035 movement tho.. those are automatic movements. Mine is a manual winding one, I guess its the calibre 1225? Thanks for the advice anyway, time to start researching more :s12:
