Thank you Haha I ordered one brown strap together with the watch too from stowa.

Managed to get extra holes punched for both straps over the weekend, after realising my wrist fail to fit the S size straps miserably. The watch now fits my wrist nicely..hate wearing overly loose watches.

Oh and I must comment red army watches punched the holes perfectly. Do ask them for assistance if you need this sort of extra service if you don't happen to get yr watch locally- no charge.

Haha thanks for the suggestion. I do have my own home puncher. Cheap tool and solves the problem of having to look for people to punch for me which may not turn out what I want. Lol

I think just for the limited edition singapore piece. I think they will generally do it free for any watch, not cos the piece I got is a stowa?

BTW, why would you need a watch to tell you to check your phone? I don't see the logic.

Its more of a reminder, sometimes you dont feel the vibration or ringtone of your phone, a smart watch would solve that problem. In addition to that, some smart watches are incorporated with pedometer and etc for value add services.

Used to work in an leading electronics company, bored of this smart watch nonsense overtime. lol.

Hi bro, thank you Yes red army sells straps too. If Im not wrong from this brand called hirsch or something. They have it in various sizes and designs. Hopefully you can find something you like.

I do think smart watches are here to stay, especially as technology progress and they will incorporate more functions. They will be a threat to digital watches *hint casio*. If Casio do reinvents their Gshock to add smart watches to their series, then it's all good.

However smart watches won't come close to replacing mechanical watches ever. Their purpose is totally different.

To add to your casio thought, it sounds feasible, but battery life would be a problem. Remember that the more functions, the more battery it eats.

But if you think of what the people (less-previlliged) are going through, you will realise that it cant be compared to suffering on a train fault.

Hopefully one day you will carry two big boxes of watches instead of shoes.
