Ok basically this watch was bought through creationwatch. No fuss, straightforward and here it is. Order was placed on fri afternoon and there were emails updating me when it was confirmed and when it was shipped.

May order the black with steel next

It's $666 from Big Time.. visodate can get from $627 onwards? Depends which aesthetics you prefer and whether you prefer swiss made or japan made.

Personally I prefer the aesthetics of "visodaydate" over "hyperdrive"

Is the rotor on yours noisy? Have read that the rotors on Bambinos can be noisy compared to other orient models.

Hi.. need some advice here. My parents just told me that for my 21st birthday, they will get me any present I want, as long as it is within their means. So they concluded that a watch would be a good gift, as it is a very lasting gift. I hope that they won't have to spend way too much, so probably setting the budget at 2.5k or lesser.. are there any brands that are within this price range? Recently the prices of many watch brands have rose, so not sure what is the pricing range now.. hopefully can get some advice here thanks!!

Buying online will be impossible.. as they kinda don't approve of online shopping haha

Raising a child for 21 years is no joke. Think of the surprise and joy on their faces when it turns out you got them a gift too.

Perhaps a visodate for your dad and......something else for your mum. Or book a holiday with them? HK or BKK and take many pics together? Memories are priceless! I'm also holding my watch purchases to bring the whole gang for holidays - oh it's so worth it!

Feels the leather is tough and def not high grade. I know nuts abt leather btw.
But i feel this watch needs glossy leather with grains to look good.

Nothing much to lose. $160-ish. If dont like, put it here to sell at slight loss. Sure got ppl pick up one
