No history, it's a new brand,a micro brand.first watch, basic low end Japanese miyota movement cased in China. Sold for over a thousand bucks. Nice different design but for a micro brand to charge on average 1.4k and up? Very poor value proposition..

The design is not bad - I even overheard some students from a JC talk about it.

Lets not judge them too soon. They could have worked hard for their dough.

When I was in JC I was making $1k a mth: teach tuition 4 days a week and I also washed dishes at food centres on weekends.

Born into poverty, had to help myself and lessen the family burden.

$1k per month is a lot of money some 10yrs ago...

Similar... while in NS did a lot of odd jobs on weekends like tuition. Paid blogging. Sell MSEA items. Repair pc etc

Anyway. .. SevenFriday I see them as more of a oversized fashion watch brand targetted at hippies who wanna be different... I think that's their proposition

I quite liked the P1 becos its steel, but again I dont think i'll wear it so never buy.

Its the "in" watch of the moment. Find the casing size awkward for its shape, even if u treat it as a casual watch

Have abit mixed impressions on this watch. Bezel and hands look dressy but strap is very sporty. It looks nice, but just abit not here nor there, for me.
