look at the amount of clients & business he brought to his ADs recently, lol.

the challenge as i see it if anyone can convince him to start a seiko 5 collection - simply because it's such an under-rated, value for money timepiece. and to start modding watches. and to get into multi-material, multi-coloured watch straps a la panerai.

disclosure: i'm NOT a fan of panerai (yet).

Speaking of seiko 5.... last night I overheard my wife conversation eith her friends abt getting me a seiko 5 divers watch as v day gift...

If its true... then I can go crazy modding it lolx... been eyeing a seiko 5 divers for a while.
Been reading up on seiko 5 divers in WUS forums that its very respected among elite watch collectors as it can really take a lot of abuse and damages which you won't want your expensive sports watches to go through

Apparently DJ II only available in smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. That's what I read off some forum just now, but that was dated in 2012.

I guess it depends. No direct experience.
Good thing about skywatches is that you have a sense of the price from their website (not sure of the FX rate they use though).

In general the parallel imports (sky watch, K2, mustafa) ought to be cheaper than AD

i think Skywatches definitely is grey. cuz the warranty is covered by skywatches and not seiko.

Mustafa is AD for Seiko under Thong Sia Co, so warranty should be covered by Seiko. THONG SIA CO (S) PTE LTD
I always like to go Mustafa to see see look look, cuz some time they will PI models exclusive only overseas.

but how Mustafa is able to dish out price points which are lower than other local ADs is still a mystery to me thou...

Mustafa for thong sia set around almost 30%. They have a smaller selection of gray market Seiko, but no box and no shop warranty.
