Bencoolen is best place to go for thong sia warranty sets, deepest discount up to 35%. Sky watches are gray market, only have shop warranty. Prices usually lower than thong sia sets. Mustafa for thong sia set around almost 30%. They have a smaller selection of gray market Seiko, but no box and no shop warranty.

to me, 30% off at Mustafa is really very good deal but if can get higher disc. at bencoolen + official warranty by Seiko i will definitely go there

Gd read, albeit wot on Russian Amphibias. Just received a SE edition but the crown movement gave me a shock of my life.
But still a sturdy and good movement, together with the 3133 chronograph, it's value for money and usually under rated :

Last time I always liked the citizen skyhawk. Now that life is slightly more comfy I am thinking of getting one for the heck of it.

how are you sourcing the dial?

i saw an example for sale (since sold) with a glass bezel with lume, and even a custom back case - are you getting those?

any shop you know of able to do the above without one needing to do all the legwork?

hi, dial/sapphire glass/hands/bezel can get from 10watch or yobokies. after that need to bring everything to k2(mr goh) for installation. depending on what you zhng price can vary but very hard to cross 400 sgd.

i wanted to zhng to sapphire crystal and yobokies lume bezel but mr goh say no need so fast change the crystal and if change bezel insert the stock 1 will be destoryed doing the mod.

i now sourcing for red tipped second hand. i changing second hand and dial only at the moment. dial would be the Modern style black dial with applied (framed) indices and date @ 4.

Hi, will reply partially first. Mr goh got sell the watch, but you can buy from other places too. I bought it from him, his is grey. No box.But got 1 year warranty from him. The parts you have to source yourself but he will mod for you for small labor fee. He is located at tanjong katong complex lvl 3. Sail cloth strap I see mostly getting from Brady.

Mustafa last week sold last piece Seiko 5 model SNZG41K1 with warranty and box at $129. Saw 1 parent bought it for his 10yrs old son. Is SNZG41K1 old model? Any idea where can find SNZG41K1? My friend looking.

Speaking of buying watch. ...completely forgotten to post the graduation watch I bought for my niece...

In the end...we nv go bencoolen or mustafa or bras basah. It was this watch shop at The Arcade Level 1... kim hype co I think....
He saw this Arbtus NY watch and fell in love with it.

He said he chose this watch cuz he wanted a more matured looking Executive watch

Original price was 658 iirc... after 25% disc was abt 495.

Quite a good deal I think as a few weeks later I saw a arbtus AD in bedok mall selling same model at 700+

K2 Goh is a nice fellow with pretty good workmanship. If the parts are from a 3rd party, u'll need to source them yourself. If its from an agent like Seiko, u can get him to order on your behalf or u can just make a trip down to Thong Sia and purchase it yourself.
