hey guys got a few OT questions.... hope those frequent flyers can help

We're flying on SQ on a family trip - can we check in much earlier than the 2 hours? I wanna bring our kids and parents to use the facilities inside the terminals (non-public area) so how may we go about doing it?

You can check in 4 hrs before if you want also not a problem but you will need to check where is the departing gate as it might not be confirm that early. But note that you might not be able to check in early when you return as the SQ counter might not be permanently open and will only open when the flight time is near.

Any SQ counter will do. But I recommend online check in as later you might not be able to sit with your family together if you check in over the counter. Even if you did not do internet check in, you can also queue at the internet check in queue as generally the normal SQ counters are quite long. Or if you are taking business class... queue at the business class queue which has even lesser people.

Oh we have designated our seats together already so that's not an issue.

Stepped inside Cortina sale (small Q only), tried this one and fell in love. Brought her home.

@yattokame: suggestion, you can leave your kids in play area inside the terminal and let your parents get full body massage free on massage chair while they watch kids play. You can go shopping in the mean time

Errr 3 leh. I like the shopping area of T3 but prefers the lounge at T1.

Take mono-rail train service for inter-terminal travel, no problem Its all built from our tax money anyway

6hrs??? Wow... Go so early can prevent misplace bags how? Ppl check all bags the receive hourly? If not I really don't see how it would help

Sorry, mistyped from my iphone. What I wanted to say is if checkin before 6 hours then there is small chance of baggage misplacing.
