Haha just slightly inclined towards choice A -which is to get a vintage rolex and use the remaining budget for another watch.In this way I can get 2 lol.

Probably looking at oyster precision without date with dauphine hands.That shouldn't exceed 2 grand based on precision website. To fit my budget the second watch cannot exceed 2 grand.

So any suggestions?

Any recommendations for gd watches in the following budget range? I'm looking for buy for myself

26 y/o female, approximately 5.5" wrist. Looking at automatic movements. Do not mind gents or unisex models but probably not looking at ladies size( personal preference- do not like watches that are too small faced). Open to new and preowned.

Budget: 3k++ : Can either go down Choice A or Choice B

Choice A: Get 2 watches
1 Watch capped @ Around $2k + Maybe can still look into another vintage rolex as add-on

OR

Choice B: 1 Watch
Capped @ Around $3k ish

But currently a bit more inclined to Choice A because I would love to get a vintage rolex. (Means have to forgo blackbay )Suggestions pls

you rike black bay jiu black bay... mai settle for something less, even if you need to save a few more months, just save and wait... better than you buy something else that within budget, but not so like... by then you already left with $0, then how you wished you would have bought something you like that time...

bought a bally money clip wallet cause i always wanted a money clip wallet. however i only want the one from bottega... so hoot the bally, start from scratch again, then hoot bottega a few months later..

Like what some others mentioned, u should drop the idea of the buy 2 for 1 concept. End of the day it's about getting what appeals to u best.

Once u start buying pre-owned and able to "accept" pre-owned watches, it can be very hard to convince yourself to buy a brand-new watch given the substantial price difference. Nothing wrong with either but these would be some principles I personally apply:

If watch is to commemorate something/gift, as far as possible get brand new, unless the model is discontinued or price difference is really too wide. If get pre-owned, look out for full set. I am willing to pay the paper/box premium and have to be patient to search and wait for the watch to be available.

If purely for own pleasure or vintage, then go for best price.

And if u choose to go for the "get 2 watch", slow down and spread out the purchases. The itch won't go away just because you bought 2 watches at 1 go!
Better to hold on to a spare "scratch" if u can haha

For the explorer 36mm. I noticed there's a few types? What is the difference between the below:

-Just stainless steel
-Tritium dial
-Transitional dial
-Superluminova dial

They all look the same to me in pictures.
