the story goes....

Alvin Lye started with selling vintage watches until he had a shop front "Monster time". Then Chris Long was his regular customer. Then together they launched a Pilot watch (thats why u can see they still make them) and without the brand, just like a WW2 pilot watch (no brand so enemy cannot tell where u are from).

Then they went on to make quite a bit of other very interesting watches (debatable) and IMHO the Mr Roboto is probably their biggest shot to fame - even when I travel overseas, people ask me about the watch. They know its Mr Roboto but didn't know it's a sg brand (with factory in swiss).

The BIT have multiple versions and you are sure to find a combination you will like. Most, if not all, of their watches are limited edition/production. BIT usually costs $2.3k brand new with no discounts. Not sure if price has increased.

They used to have a boutique at mandarin gallery and MBS shoppes but have closed since. Now they are undergoing rebranding. Recent offers includ ethe Landship (modelled after WW1 tanks which were called landships then) and Spaceship predator.

notice they name their watches landship, spaceship - I am guessing an airship or something may be coming.

Every year they will hold a NDP watch making competition for students and the winning entry will get the design made.

You can also go to collectrostime.com to view their watches.

again, let me know if you want good discounts :)

Not sure BIT has more colours other than what is listed on the link you shared. But amongst all I find this the nicest :
Azimuth Back In Time Silver Rose | Collectors Time
or perhaps the blue blast.

I'm not very sure on the new prices cos I usually only see used watches, more affordable that way :s13:

Mr Roboto is $3k+ closer to $4k. BIT is $1k+

Yesterday i saw 2 pre-owned robotos for sale in sgroc, ard 3k-ish, other than yatto gor gor's one. Seems like many pple are selling it now.

much more than that. the BIT is like their bread and butter model.

collectorstime.com sells them very cheap, can consider.
very reliable also, they've been in business for many years. ordered from them before also.

You can try Monster Time at Far East Plaza. In terms of size, it's really how comfortable you are with watch sizes. I don't think there's a lot of people who can carry off a 55mm watch but there're people wearing them simply because they like big watches.

I've also seen petite girls wearing the Hulk. Looks great on them too.

somehow it is more forgiving and acceptable for a gal with a small wrist to wear a big watch, it's just a matter of her comfort level. But i can't say the same for guys though. Can't imagine myself wearing anything more than 44mm...
