Can someone explain to me in layman terms what is the automatic miyota movement?

Miyota is a Made-In-Japanese automatic wristwatch movement and Miyota is part of Citizen.

and Miyota do not produce watches. they produce automatic watch movements for watch makers companies like CITIZEN, INVICTA, SevenFriday etc

you can click on this link for more info about Miyota movement:

No battery required since it is automatic or self-winding :o

Seems like it's the watch for me! Except that it seems like it's more of a men's watch?

I was at vivo just now but didn't go into the shops. Argh!

I'm looking more for unique designs.

Budget can go up to $5k but prefer not to spend too much on a watch. I have so many watches that I don't take good care of. Just wanna get something to pamper myself for my birthday. Lol.

So now deciding between a $2k (up to $5k) watch vs a trip to Switzerland! Haha

the design is rather eye-catching though from a first impression...though i haven't seen it in person to be able to give comments on legibility, does look a bit "crowded"

well, i'm ok with stuff made or assembled in china. as long as it's good quality control. have you read about the reviews? well, if they have used the swiss movements, then the price will definitely be higher. and since i'm a designer, i do believe in paying more for design/aesthetics. personal preference.

Well...since you have quite a collection why not take a snapshot....and perhaps we could take a look?

devon watches are very wicked in design. Similar to MB&F. URWERK. CORUM.

sevenfriday would be like their little tiny younger brother
