ROLEX or Patek?!!!

Despite living in a digital age, the watch has survived as a compliment of sorts, completing a good outfit as a kind of status symbol.
For those collectors, two names stand above other competition in terms of heritage: Rolex and Patek Philippe.

Briefly examining this, CNN Money consulted Christie’s – the famed auction house –
to compare the two brands and the wealthy buyers they attract.
According to this report, Rolexes seem to attract a certain gaudy consumer,
while Patek watches are for the more refined wearers.

Either way, CNN Money does well to touch on the history and importance of both brands.

Real Men wear Rolec, IWC & Panerai!

If you want good watch using in-house movements and no nonsense... Orient Bambino, Orient Star Classic.

If you want swiss made,
- Hamilton Jazzmaster
- Tissot

@dilphinus I've checked out some 7fri for you on your behalf and here's some wrist shots on my 5.5" wrist. :)

I also went to check out Azimuth's back in time that I was previously interested in. Conclusion is Azimuth is a no go..with the lugs its gonna be too huge for me.

I'm intrigued by the design and how it really stands out though I know there's nothing spectacular about the movement. Should I consider getting this as a ''fun'' watch? What do you people think? Does it look too horrendously huge on my wrist?Yay or nay?

This is how it looks below:

Too big!
That's what she said

Nice ring :)

Vanilla... is the watch strap too tightly around your wrist???

I think its just getting used to it...

I feel pilot watches should look great on you too

Was discussing some watch with my Poly classmate just now. Didn't know she is a watch fanatic as well... all I did was shared an ALS Zeitwerk and she initiate that conversation with me...

maybe they had a bad day also?
anyway they take turns to serve customers. even if one person come in just to ask stupid question, there goes their turn.

Is this an unspoken rule or etiquette? What if the customer randomly approaches a SA and it's not their turn to serve?

Maybe for VW mm's case, the SA was fed up with eyeballers (and her own luck) and behaved this way.
