nice watch... but the rubber strap is a little bit different from the ones I saw at TH boutique at Marina Square
The cutting on the sides are deeper and the wordings "TAG HEUER" are more defined
and the details on the dial look very different from this one in WUS forum...

i don't think there is a requirement to send it for servicing, unless when you are examining the watch, you saw scratches, dents and other markings on the surface of the watch.
then it's best is to send for authenticity check at a ROLEX shop. only about $100++ iirc
Send it for authentication. BNIB or not, its his words. View the watch and then bargain to a price u are happy paying for. Servicing is probably not neccessary as Rolex are known to run for years without much issue. Basic servicing nowadays is close to 1k.
Go to RSC together to send the watch in under his name, for authentication. Then collect the watch together again (prob the next day; u must be there to ensure it is the right watch u are collecting) and then buyer usually pays the $107 fee if watch is ok, or based on whatever was agreed upon. Then take the watch and stuff and pay the seller.
The next step is crucial - take wrist shots and post here.
As mentioned by Henabi, there's no need to send for servicing. While Rolex recommends a servicing once every three to four years, they generally still work very well even after 10 years without servicing; at least mine still does.
If you want a peace of mind, in terms of authenticity, it cost $107 at RSC. Confirmation is verbal.
Thanks for the reply bros. yup will plan to send it in for authentication before paying. BTW how do they check the authenticity? Do they just check the serial number against their database or do they open up to check the movement and parts? And they only give a verbal confirmation, no documentation?
BTW, is it recommended to get a watch that is sitting in the safe for so long, assuming it's what the seller claims?

Rolex will open up the watch and check in the movements. Check the serial number on the watch, on the strap etc
then issue you a receipt telling you if this watch is real rolex or fake rolex
OMB: What Rolex Service Centre does???
whether is it recommended to get from the open market?! well... its up to you and how comfortable you are...
a 2010 rolex shouldn't be difficult to get it Brand new in a Rolex shop. although its gonna cost you a few thousands more but at least it gives you the confirmation that its real.
plus, if you buy repeatedly from the same person in the same shop like Yatto dai dai kor... the person might be able to flex some muscle and do some magic ^.^
Thanks bencheongcm...
