Just got back and did a family photo of my little collection. Nothing compared to iceflight boss's collection of course, but i'm a happy man. Special thanks to him of course for the very kind gesture.

I'll take more wrist shots and close ups of the ALS time zone this weekend when I get around to wearing it.

But all I can say is it has me really lusting for more to acquire.

That's a very differing quartet you have and a very impressive one I must say though I have no love for AP at all.

I'll take close ups this weekend. I wore it on the wrist when I was the store earlier and it blew me away each and every time.

The Lange 1's a little plain, but move it up a little to the timezone, moon phase, saxonia annual calendar and man it really shines.

And course ice flight dai lo's langematik.

okay lar as long as not Peng Kwee, prices should be quite competitive amongst the smaller dealers...
AK got this 10% tradein and 20% buyback within a year guarantee... and 1 yr in-hse warranty... you can look at it as rental of a rolex...

but i suggest you do a search on the forums and deal with the seller at some trusted watchmaker for instant verification... can save a couple of hundreds at the very least... you may think its a mere few hundreds, but it may turn out to be an appreciable depreciation in percentages... e.g. you can buy from AK @ $8000, or buy from forum @ $7400. Sell 1 year later at $6800. The former has depreciation of double that of the latter....

Besides the ALS and ROO look like a pair...beauty and the beast.

I was actually thinking of buying the RG sky dweller still, but think i'll cough out a bit more and save for the zeitwerk.

u lucky got this piece, they are making changes to the escapement. new watches simple 3 hands wouldn't get the highend escapement like u do on the current watch. cut cutting

My wrist is small, ~6.3". I checked the new SD online, 40mm, but thickness dunno how thick. None of the dealers know, therefore I tired the DSSD...seem fine..decided to hoot!

Thinking of Zeitwerk Striking Time Rose Gold... I've finally witnessed how the Lange time zone change dates past mid night.

The sheer engineering into making the discs jump repeatedly is just plain amazing.

need some opinions guys.

pelagos or rolex sub 14060m, 14060 and 114060.

at the moment i saw pelagos for 4.4k grey. 14060 i have seen 4.5k around? not sure bout 14060m. and 114060 is around 8k plus? need those who are well verse in this to advice.

what i like about the pelagos is the feature set, no nonsense design, lumed blue bezel.
what i dont like about the pelagos is eta moment(minor nuance) the not so nice bezel teeth.

what i like about the sub is the history and bezel teeth which pelagos one are too meek in my opinion. the bezel teeth gives the watch presence which i like.
between the ceramic and non ceramic, price is the factor that is kinda stopping me from getting it at the moment for 114060 though i like it better. so i having many thoughts. save longer for the 114060 or just go with the 14060 if i choose to go with sub.

114060, once u try it u wont feel like taking out. im looking to get one also, hopefully can achieve this coming july.....

The ROO's pretty nice to wear to be honest, but i guess it's really not for everyone. In fact, while i've got my first dress watch from ALS, i still find myself excited to wear the AP out for formal occasions as well.

The strap's an original hornback from AP. I bought it direct from the service centre when they first had it for the 44mms

I had Zeithwek on my write for around 30sec.. can say that it just blows everything out of the way... just a very fantastic watch, a super holy grail if I say so, next to Patek 5712r

but my colleagues did ask me how much my watch cost today lol. I asked them to guess. One said 800 to 900 and another said 1.2K haha. They thought I was joking when I said its only 210 bucks.

The Zeitwerk is quite a marvel technically. When I was shown the Zeitwerk, I almost sprung for it, but I had tried the striking time at the boutique as well and I thought I'll wait for that instead before deciding.

It is an outstanding piece to wear on the wrist as you may have already experienced. I like my watches big and 44mm is pretty much the size I'd wear.

I took cross fac module in Japanese history and the Tokugawa period interests me a fair bit. Like the details on this keychain but the bella are darn noisy.
