Cause most of the people I know who owns a tag, most of them gone case... But sometimes i find it a heng suay thing. lol.

Thanks for helping/sharing!

Just curious to know are all Swiss Brand Watches reliable enough to last ?

My UN also after 2 years need to send for servicing liao and after servicing still having problem. Now still in servicing again..........................:o

Now, I was wondering how reliable are brands like AP, PP and other brands.......................:s8:

Or maybe inhouse movement is more reliable than ETA movement ? :s22:

Not promising for rolex IMO if what i see of zenith in the last few years is an indication of the output from his leadership

really i thought zenith has been doing great in the last few years coming up with some snazzy designs and movements e.g. "striking 10th".

though i see him more as a maverick CEO and his innovativeness may work to revive zenith, rolex is a well established institution that just rolls on hits own momentum, and he may find his wings a bit clipped.

If u browse the forums such as Watchuseek that have sub forums for each brand, u will see that every brand has lemons. Obviously, people usually post when they have problems. And statistically, the more watches sold the more lemons. Tag, Rolex, Omega sell in volumes way way over say Patek. So just based on that you will see much less Patek problems. Add to that how many of your friends own Patek. Add to that ppl tend to use their Tags as daily beaters/wearers so more roughly treated, but the more expensive watches are left in safes and reserved for special occasions. So really just taking hearsay at face value has no value.

Something irrelevant to the watch thread.

But as a person who appreciates watches, cigars and whisky. Here's my dram for tonight.

Excellent.

Seems like we have some whisky drinkers here.. maybe we should organise a session where we can have whisky and talk about watches.. :)

Hi

Is $247 too much to pay for the first gen Bambino, white dial and RG colour case.
Thanks!

Hi guys, non-watch person here. My sister ruined her Longines by bringing it with her to the shower. The only place to get it serviced is their svc center at harbourfront right? Any documents needed to bring along and any deposit for servicing required?

Thanks
