Hi
Is $247 too much to pay for the first gen Bambino, white dial and RG colour case.
Thanks!
I got preowned for $120. You can probably find BNIB for just under $200?

Funny, I thought most longines are water proof?Hi guys, non-watch person here. My sister ruined her Longines by bringing it with her to the shower. The only place to get it serviced is their svc center at harbourfront right? Any documents needed to bring along and any deposit for servicing required?
Thanks
Is 1st gen more collectible? and the pricing is so precise.. $247
I had a low end tag f1 series alarm watch n so far after near 3yrs its still working fine n batt haven changed yet. So yea. Tho their watches arent that gd but r decent actually.

Who says Tag watches aren't that good, and in what sense not good?.. Anyway their F1 series being entry level does not fully represent the brand. The Carerra other series are without a doubt up there.
I've a question for rolex gurus... after all the over-engineering, extravagant materials, and pricey research, why don't rolex just align the crown properly when screwed down like other brands? I find this really mind boggling.

Most people prefer the 1st gen bambi because the 2nd gen's dial is a little messy with a mix of roman numerals and straight hashes for the hour markers.
A pity, I kind of prefer the overall look and feel of the 2nd. Just can't get past the logo.
1st gen left, 2nd gen right.

Hey guys

It's here!!!
is it done in SG or swiss?
maybe tech is the issue.
whats your UN issue?

In SG, after wearing for 2 years plus. It suddenly will stopped moving by itself even when the watch was fully wind.
I made a mistake by not sending back to UN but since it's using ETA movement, I think it's should be ok.
I send my watch to service at Bonfield and a complete overhaul was done. I received back my watch after that but within 1 month, it's had stopped moving 7 times suddenly without any reason so I send back to Bonfield again as it's covered under 1 year warranty after the overhaul.
I really like this watch but after all the problem I am facing, I thought of selling it..................................
After this thing, I feel a bit scary on the reliability of a branded swiss watch. I read people saying about no need to send for servicing until 5 years or more but looked like it's not really the case........................
Maybe cannot always wear it like my Rolex is one good example, wear it only for 7 times and after 15 years, it's still working.........................![]()
If u browse the forums such as Watchuseek that have sub forums for each brand, u will see that every brand has lemons. Obviously, people usually post when they have problems. And statistically, the more watches sold the more lemons. Tag, Rolex, Omega sell in volumes way way over say Patek. So just based on that you will see much less Patek problems. Add to that how many of your friends own Patek. Add to that ppl tend to use their Tags as daily beaters/wearers so more roughly treated, but the more expensive watches are left in safes and reserved for special occasions. So really just taking hearsay at face value has no value.

Wah. 7 times in 15 years! Y nv wear more often?
I feel it's a bit not so rugged and it's tend to scratch as my job need to work on machine.
But maybe later, the Rolex taste not on me anymore.
That's was my first luxury watch and also maybe I just followed the trend as Rolex resale value is good and also influence by people around me.
