Hmmmm since there is quite a following for bambino I just have this crazy thought abt customizing one for this hwz thread. Maybe the dial or the caseback can include the words "hwz forums " or something? Like a commemoration watch for all of us here.

Dont think orient will entertain us though. But perhaps a 3rd party will?

My boy says hi! Loving the muted handsome-ness (watch, not owner ). The blue lume stunned me when I walked into the lift. It was the first time I see the lume in person, and I totally didn't expect the the sexiness.

There are Sinn watches < 2.5k.

You should just go watch shopping and try on some watches in the shops. Prices are listed too. Ask for discount and see what you can get with 2.5k.

how bout a compromise between you and you parents. 2.5k from them, 2k from you. and you can get the same lume as the one that is posted.

i might be bias. used to like sinn for their understated look. but when you compare u1 to the mm300, eta(not a bad thing) vs inhouse unregulated gs movement, nicer dial because of applied indices(imo), better lume. end of day is which watch speaks to you the most.

Watches spotted in the wild

Spent most of the afternoon at Parkway Parade and East Coast Park, noticing what people were wearing on their wrists, of those I can recognize ( which include most luxury brands) spotted 2 smart watches, 6 Rolexes (all subs, maybe 1or 2 gmts) and 1 omega PO. Clearly again lolek is the national favorite.

Are you referring to the Pelagos haha! Used to like the tag heuer aquaracer 500m, but then it's rather expensive ugh.. gone were the days where you can get a tag for less than 2k..
