How come the love for Orient so strong suddenly. I see the action also spilled over in WUS Orient forums. Made me do some research on Orient, apparently a subsidiary of Seiko and all movements are made in-house. Do they all come with Sapphire crystals?

Club Datum, manual-wind. First manual wind for me, definitely nothing fantastic compared to all the dai gor dai's watches here but really very satisfied with my buy.

The Nomos in-house calibre ticks much finer compared to the sound of the ETA on the Stowa flieger.

Ah, that's a good question.. I think will kena. US mostly never but the Canadians seem to kena.. Seems like we will too.

It would have been better if it comes with date. I just feel like it's better for a watch to have the date indicator since we get to use them instead of chrono which is kinda useless.

nope the lower end models like bambinos have mineral crystals.

actually some lower end ones have sapphire glass, those at $180 - $200+.
I bought one at $180 for my god daughter with sapphire .
