However so, I have connection in rolex and panerai. haha but only extend to friends and family for internal hookup. Haha.

Probably the Italian green leather and emboss my name in it. Truly personalised!
But I should try one of the kain heritage grey calf to pair with my grey suede wingtips. Haha

Not to doubt the sincerity of friends, but often times such people make themselves the middle man. So say if I have 10 friends who want watches, and I tell them to get through me, I will end up buying 10 watches from the AD. Because of my volume of purchases I become friends with the AD who in turn gives me better discounts and it snowballs. If this drags on, I think that's how a grey dealership is formed, where back logged items are sold in bulk through the grey dealer so that the AD can meet his quota. The grey dealer for example may get 10 pcs of a Panerai at 35% discount off RRP and sells to locals here at 20% discount. I think this is especially prevalent in Switzerland where I read sales is higher than in other parts of the world because people somehow prefer buying a Swiss watch from Switzerland. Tourist dollar for watches in Switzerland is very high. So the ADs there likely have very high turnovers to meet.

Based on this angle close up shot it looks tad too big for you, IMO. The lugs are extending beyond your wrist. Maybe take a more zoomed up distant shot might give a more accurate sense of proportion.

It has a lot going on in the dial. If you like a sporty rugged looking watch (and its titanium!) and don't mind an ETA movement (my experience with 7750 is it's a time tested rock solid movement), for the price of $4950 USD, and I'd reckon BALL has quality ( though I never handled one), I say why not.... For sure it's not a common watch. The clasp is quite unique too, you gotta like that too if you're thinking of getting it.

I have been looking for a chronograph (even if i may not use the functions), and consequently, it has day and date functions on it which i need for everyday usage. Comes with the added tritium glow in the dark which im super amazed about (even though it eventually fades away with time). its pretty much everything i want in a watch though. saw someone selling at 3.5k for 2nd hand, half a year old. Its on the ETA 7750 movement, if im not wrong its the most common movement is it?

@Gurgkle: Like I mentioned before, mine's a bit different. Here's a photo of mine, which I just took today, after wearing the straps for the past 11 months:

1. Black colour burnished edges
2. Minimal beige stitching (Canary Yellow strap)
3. Minimal black stitching (Riveria Blue strap)
4. No buckling holes
5. Pre-V polished/brushed buckles

They are still quite stiff but I do change my straps quite a bit though so they don't get much wrist time, in its defense!

Thanks for sharing, the blue is indeed very beautiful, esp when it's so well captured in your shot. The canary yellow is quite something too. Next one I'm looking at is perhaps the stingray one with red stitching. Will see how it goes, one at a time!

I updated my above post with some further info. The 7750 is a very common chrono movement, but may become less common in the years ahead because SWATCH group who produces them is cutting off/ has cut off supply to some companies. A common movement is a plus point too, because parts would be readily available if next time u send for servicing.

the only downside is that the day and dates are rollovers yup, i saw the clasp, it was just mindblowing. I duno if i poisoned myself

I think if u want to buy it not for reselling but just because u like the design of the watch chrono and appreciate titirum tubes glows, I think it is good to go.. my understanding is that tritium tubes should last 25yrs.. The half life of 12years and it grow even dimmer than it used to.. So should have nothing to worry, 12yrs is a long way, and u may have earn more comfortably to replaces all the half lifed tritium back to new via ball..
