If mod a Seiko watch change the bezels dial etc...even change the dial to one that says of another brand, is it considered wearing a fake watch?

So long the mods do not state another brand outright its not a fake, at most a homage

so by definition a homage is an authentic watch ? still blurred lines for me after all these years.

A homage copies practically every design aspect of the 'original' except it has a different brand. Fake/replica/counterfeit try to pass off as the actual brand.

Eg Lorex can be homage, rolex (not from geneva) is fake. Whether rolex (from geneva) tolerates the homage is another thing.. Hah

Homage (/ˈhɒmɨdʒ/ or /ˈɒmɨdʒ/) is a show or demonstration of respect or dedication to someone or something, sometimes by simple declaration but often by some more oblique reference, artistic or poetic. The term is often used in the arts for where one author or artist shows respect to another by allusion or imitation; this is often treated and pronounced as the French hommage.

guys, any comments on this watch winder?

2+3 Single Motor Watch Winder

this one single motor and is 2 watch per winder means the watch is not dead center... and if got watches of different brands and movement the rotation direction and speed to wind might be different u cant put them together... i would recommend boxy winder about 110.. and can stack up when u got more watch.. individual motor and individual speed and direction..

Thanks!

both of my autos are 650 TPD according to orbita's database, so should be ok.

but about the watch not centered, what are the issues associated with that?

Generally for watches without complications, is 650 and both directions. Unless you have Chronographs or perpetual calendars, you will need a different setting.

means u need to put 2 watches of about same weight on each winder else the motor will have uneven load. but still i dun recommend those multi winder but only 1 motor.

thanks!
