was queuing for carrot cake this morning and spotted the man in front of me wearing this very nice watch, Glashutte Bigdate

love big date watches but i can't buy one because i almost never set the date on mine! perhaps its a hassle, but more so to avoid damaging the mechanism out of ignorance/forgetfulness.

Does Ion boutique regulate watches there or send them to Richemont Service Centre? I'm concerned some sales person doubles up to open up my watch....All other watch brands I know tell me to send to their holding groups service centre except Panerai which says to go to their boutique. Got a PAM 305 running 15 secs fast per day.

also do they take down what I tell them in black and white and give me a copy of it?

Eh no la! Work and save hard! No more. All my money now goes to my wedding. The proposal ring and whatnot. Hahaha

yeah bro... must watch spending in general... haha i spent quite a fair bit (around $20k so far) on the proposal ring, my PAM, wedding bands, still got many many stuff to settle!!!

but no regrets in buying good watches.

if you use your watch daily it will wear more since its mechanical. so those are just guidelines. with respect to oil clumping when automatic watches are not in use, i think this happens mostly in cold weather and not so much here.

U think ppl leave watches outside in cold countries? Or they they turn on heat? If u say they walk outside, most walk for car parks to office building is like 2-3 mins walk

U doing at tissot service center or at JW watch.
JW watch cheaper.

The website said Singapore is using Ta-Q-Bin. TQB is ok. Got mine delivered on a Sunday afternoon.

Thanks, both shot with a Nikon D700 and Sigma 35mm f1.4 lens. If you asked me, a 35mm lens is all a person need for general photography.
