My wife bought me a watch that I would never buy myself, but I wear it with pride and it will always be with me.

I have since gently "educated" her through the years and now if she decides to buy me a watch again, I have no doubt it will be something that I'd like too.

Expensive is relative. When u have 100M in the bank a 2M watch nothing! When your spending budget is few hundred yes it's expensive. U need to understand or read that some where.

When u say rolex Paul Newman Daytona.... Etc.. They are highly collectable.

U told your spouse to read that and ask her to ok no buy house? Just rent or sleep on streets? I understand without reading but my spouse didn't buy that concept.
