"Stole" the Radiomir this afternoon for a joyride!

This is before I changed the strap to the beige one...

I think a strapcode shld be fine as well as long as u order one with correct end links.. 007, fat spring bars in our case..

Check out other watch forums for reviews of strapcode oyster bah.. dun recall coming across anything too negative..

But best reviews (and most expensive) one out there is the wjean oyster la..

Hahah it is super oyster not oyster! Anyways, What is fat spring bars for? At the strapcode's website it said "generic 2.5mm Diameter stainless steel spring bars included." is this the fat spring bars? (sorry can't post the link )

Tokyo station 100yrs
Def a good time for japan.

Sensoji at asakusa is the typical tourist spot but worth a visit.
Tokyo skytree is new so might as well.
Akihabara is a must go for electronics, anime, manga, AKB48
Tsukiji for the fish market
Shibuya to see the multi road scramble walk
Harajuku for takeshita dori, meiji shrine, omotesando
Shinjuku just plenty of shopping I feel
Ueno has this "street market" called ameyokocho

These are the few places i never get sick of. Just keep going back again and again.

Yatto covered most of the places
I will add to these, mostly for food (but this are subjective, my personal fav, YMMV)

Shop:
high end shopping - omotesando/aoyama

Eat:
Senoji temple nearby - 大黑家 quite different tempura
Misono for waygu
Misokatsu Yabaton @ Ginza
Kyubey sushi (very good sushi & non-Jap friendly)

if you have more time, take shinkansen to Kyoto and spend 1 or 2 nights there.
Walk up the shop trail up to Kiyomizudera and explore

Ichiran gets my vote too. During my 8 day trip to Tokyo, I ate there for 4 times. Have a good trip and we look forward to some wrist shots with beautiful scenery. Tokyo might be still having spates of heatwave so do dress appropriately.

Ah damn this makes me miss my tokyo trip last year and eating ichiran.

Day 1 was spent travelling. But theres a real nice samantha thavasa shop at haneda domestic airport T2 southern plaza. Even sells confectionery.

(Theres a cute waitress by the name of kikuchi at the cafe at hakodate airport......)

Went to this bay area with old red bricks warehouses converted into shopping/food/entertainment area.


Ok who knows the model no of this seiko? K2/creation/skywatches got sell? Hahahaha.....

Ok this is a small eatery in the market next to this bay area and in front of la vista hakodate. We ordered 4 of this grilled scallops, 2 bowls of miso crab soup and fish soup respetively, grilled salmon belly, grilled smoked salmon, 2 sets of assorted tempura......$120? I believe its much better bang for buck than sg

Ah damn this makes me miss my tokyo trip last year and eating ichiran.

My wife is not a ramen person but ichiran must be the first and last food whenever we are in tokyo. Until the kids came along......not a family restaurant kinda place.

Iceflight really must go have a try!

Ichiran's type is the hakata ramen. Thin firm noodles and tonkotsu (pork broth). Need to top up for soft centre egg but its just so good...... Finish the noodles, leave the soup untouched and order kaedama 替え玉 "replacement noodle" and hoot another round. Damn shiok.

Oh my, blocked noses and airplane pressure changes are a recipe for disaster at least for me. If my sinuses are blocked I will get what is called aerosinusitis, the blocked pressure pops my capillaries with excruciating pain, as if a nail is being jammed into my brow. Hope the kids and wife will be ok.

I want to get a shell cordovan casual low boots with finishing similar to what u have on....but hard to get in sg, have to order online which is troublesome without a sure fit.

Boots and shoes I find quite alright to buy online as long as you know your size. It's loafers that are very unpredictable.

i'm not a fan of B&R but i thought the thin humour didn't disguise that it was a rather scathing attack on the brand and more probably John Mayer. Most possibly just a cheap PR trick to get more eyeballs.

I'd be glad though if B&R prices crashed overnight so I can get my hands on some pieces
