Reposting my photo...

The middle one is my boys' favorite watch face. Mouth closes and opens after every minute.
How much did you buy your Pebble Steel for and did you buy it locally? Any advice you would give on this watch?

The appreciation of fine watch making from the past.. And the watchmakers who still delicate their time into keeping the historical watchmaking alive.. Also the support of the community appreciation to the watchmakers who craft and assemble the watch by hand.. :s12:

Actually, maybe the sound of luxury watch with stupid accuracy turn u off.. But the micro details within a luxury watch is really amazing and it takes people who love/appreciate timepieces to notice.. :)

Beautifully written.

Every mechanical watch within the best of the best brand will have some variances in their accuracy. Can't be too hung up over absolute accuracy or you will not be able to enjoy a mechanical watch for what it is; little man made pieces put together to measure that which we have absolute no control of, time.

What would you guys recommend for a watch with the budget of $1000?

Not been here few days, because my limited surfing time been spent getting some good leatha' from the Saddleback company. Am catching some of the sights and sounds of Korea and Japan over the last pages. Heh heh.

Saddleback! Bought two wallets from them. Best customer service. Dad and I got one each. Till death do us part.

Bought Pebble Steel online (https://getpebble.com).

What do you want from the watch?
It's basically receive notification from your phone (iOS and Android) and alerts you. Some useful apps like remote for camera (selfie), sleep app (monitors your sleeping pattern), sports app (running, biking etc) and many more apps.

The picture you saw is just a few of the many watch faces downloaded from the Pebble Store.

A single charge of the battery runs it for 4-6 days depending on usage (GPS link, notification, sync etc).

Didn't post earlier because Optus network in Kangaroo Island is intermittent... Finally reached hotel after driving for hours today. Saw many seals at Seal Bay!
