is that a trick question?? why not?

Maybe concerned over the movement parts messed up with violent jerks, movements on the ride.

I've worn my sub thru many theme park rides when i visited US previously and the watch works fine. But i would admit that i would have reservations if the watch was say, a calatrava or lange.

Missed because of "didn't know till after the deal" or "OOS"?

Just finished packing... Here's a lume shot...

Can't remember. It didn't catch my eye during the promo period. Remember kohchris or someone recommending this alot on here. Was compared to the visodate. Eta, case back etc. But during promo was rubber strap only right? So how much did you pay for the bracelet? At that time I was eyeing for u1.

haha not about affording la.. the watches are not exactly suitable for an outfit one would wear for a day out at the theme park to begin with.

Maybe if you decided to squeeze in a transformer or mummy ride at USS before your black tie dinner at RWS then u'll have this dilemma (and of cos you must have the watch to begin with!). :s13::s13:

Should I hoot this one? $600+ here in Japan (Bic Camera).

Eco-Drive ALTICHRON?CITIZEN?

Dunno if it will get any wrist time at all though......

U should buy if you like it and it's not going to be readily available outside of Japan.

Wrist time not important la. Think of it like stocking up your first aid kit. U'll never know when u suddenly get the urge to buy this watch, or any watch, or start to regret why you didn't buy.. Then all you have to do is to dig up your first aid kit and find the unworn watch to cure your urge! :D

Rubber only. Bought the bracelet but can't remember the price ($300+ iirc). I prefer metal bracelet to rubber/leather, that's why I'm still hesitant about getting a Panerai.

My only watches without bracelet are Orient Bambino (leather) and Sunnto Vector (rubber).

I wear my calatrava with shorts and slippers :s13::s13::s13: It's my daily driver and I'm too lazy to set date/time on other watches sometimes.

You can rather use the $600 get 2 top quality straps for your 305.

that kinda describes this hobby, with $600 you can get:
- a new top of the line watch OR
- 2 new luxurious leather straps :)

personal choice and priorities!

i'll add on: you can also get:
- 2 very decent and respectable Seiko vintage watches
