Super like! Support local music, local production!! Can I ask if you write n produce songs?
I'm not a song writer per se, but I do lots of composing. Producing songs, yes. That's my bread and butter.

I'm happy that you support local music. We definitely need more people to do that.

Unfortunately, I can't say that local "music" makes up any significant part of my overall work. There is simply not enough demand in our little country to be able to feed a family with income from producing local "music".

I'd love to be able to do a lot more local "music", but the local projects that pay the bills are government jobs or companies that require music to be more of an effect to support the video rather than the focus.

so its commercial jingles and such? in any case good to see local talent in are of the content creation. quite rare these days. lots of "creative" jobs, not many helmed by Singaporeans, but lately it seems to be increasing.

Yes, jingles, movie music, gaming music, product music, online website music... things of this nature. But it's still not my mainstay.

There is plenty of talent around actually. The hard part is establishing yourself overseas so that you can make a reasonable living doing it. The local scene isn't going to do that.

U remind me of Charlie Harper of two and a half men.. relatively lots of free and flexible time to pursue own stuff like gym and good food. I assume the womanising and (excessive) boozing parts don't apply though haha.

Curious whats on your rig. haha Btw what speakers are those, never seen before. Using Yamaha hs50 atm, but just for listening lah.
Great! The HS50's are very pleasant sounding.

I have a couple of sets of speakers as you can see. I switch between them to make sure they sound good across the board.

The first set is Focal Twin 6 be. The other set is Genelec 1029 with a sub.

My rig? I think a few quick pics would be much more concise.

Flexible time: definitely.

Free time: depends on the workload.

Womanizing: definitely no, haha.

Boozing: a couple of glasses of red wine if the food calls for it, max, per week. I guess that doesn't count.

Niceeee!

Am I seeing a furman power con and a M-Audio AI on the bottom right?

Great Speakers too!

Hs50 is very unbiased sounding, have a sub too.

So i presume you dont do 5.1 mixing?

Just saw the two mac pro, one video one audio?

I dont think branding should be part of your consideration. What you should consider is its features, movement and which one speaks to you more.
