Your grandfather spent more effort earning that S$40 compared to your S$280!!!

Seeing it on your wrist... Priceless!!!

$40 some 30-40 years ago is hell lot of money.

its almost like $800-1000 today's SGD

Hey guys update! If I am not wrong, the buckle is vintage panerai. It's stamped in engraving. I called the factory. He say stamping they don't do. However laser engraving is possible but won't have the silvery effect. It's will be darken with the exact same design. Not sure If you guys are ok with it. I will be heading down to talk to the designer on coming wed and get him to make a sample and I will show it here. See anyone of you are still interested.

Still on. :) The "darkened" effect still matches the face of the Pam, so it is fine.

Yes bro, got inspired by the maradona and Castro posting earlier.

I guess u mean 2 watches to keep 2 time zones.

Anyone with the FM Master Wenker.... i mean Banker.. 4 time zones!

Nobody post FM around here.. it's like an embarrrassment to be associated with FM these days.. like my embarrassment talking about Mr T and the A-Team. :s13::s13:

4 timezone actually quite useful - NYSE, FTSE etc

Was actually contemplating an FM perpetual in RG on swx but.....the shape doesnt really suit me.

FM value really plummet. Was hot item and holding value quite well, not unlike PAMs in recent times.. Then I think it got out of favour when their movements were heavily criticised.

Alot of pre-own shops condemn FM because of the losses or (more likely lower earnings) resulting from their holding FM inventory..

For people who genuinely like FM, it's good news I guess..

My posting was for the fun of it... Haha. 3 timezone time piece would be nice, SGX, LSE, NYSE.

I got a friend also very interested in FM. But for the price bracket he is looking at, I would rather he get a PP instead.

Actually I was very interested in FM for their unique shape and numbering design for awhile (their entry level).. But because it seems like everyone is abandoning the thought of wanting a FM do worry me.. Anyway, as for now, FM will quene very behind for things I saving to hoot first.. Hehe.. Pam is really the in thing for watch now.. Everywhere is talking about it.. Have no interest in it earlier on.. But after hearing so much and keep looking at it.. It became super chio now..

OK given u a chance liao yatto dai kor.. :s13:

FM is quite popular in Tiongland, they like it very much. And its true FM doesn't hold it value much. The discounts can go quite crazy.
