if you think about it if they can fake the watch, they can also fake the stickers, the boxes... those are easier and less costly to produce.

If they fake everything from the warranty certificate, box, stickers, strap, cloth etc it comes to a point these counterfeitors start incurring to much trouble and cost for them to want to do it...and price would consequently rise to prob a few thousand. Besides the more things they fake, the more they risk being identified, and the more they have to make sure the copying is same as original.

some common design cues perhaps, but they're totally different watches to me.

Bezel n gmt hand. Yep they are diff watches definitely but these 2 similar features immediately struck me, more so than the signature 3, 6,9, 12 of B&R

The pam 249/262 california radiomir do not have the panerai logo nor branding on the dial. The case back rim however does state "Officine Panerai"

Brands like Dievas make similar models but it's easy to differentiate between Panerai and lesser models.

U have to look up close, ppl buying will know fake or not.
But to tell if some joe walking pass u at city hall to call out a fake... Unlikely. Then again ppl so free to?

I will not settle for spring bar method as that cheapens and lessens the enjoyment of the watch. Pay few k for a watch and settle for some make do method, no way.
