Omega vs Orient for 20 years

This is a mindset comparison, not so much physically, since we all know the Omega stands heads and tails above the Orient in terms of quality.

For this comparison we'll compare:

Purchasing (1) new Omega Seamaster 41mm currently being sold as low as $3000, to be worn as your daily watch every day for 20 years.

VS.

Purchasing (1) new Orient 200m Diver 41.5mm, currently being sold as low as $150, to be worn as your daily watch each year, but purchasing a new one every year for 20 years totaling $3000, and yes you can change the color/type each year as long as same price.

In your perspective, which choice would you prefer for your next twenty years of enjoyment and why?

Ate it back when I was in Korea and till now, I have yet to find such nice tasting chicken ginseng soup in S'pore.

that place very famous. got umbrella for you to use when queueing. and the queue is quite insane. the ginseng chicken is good.

U sure? Define quality??
20yrs omega no serving cost added in? Every yr change a orient one would end up having the same color or similar design soon no need to go buy new one

My long overdue watch "case" project starts today. (click here for more info). Also here.

Will eventually get the customized cutouts from local-boy-turned-global -WIS-hero Martin, but thought I'd give it a with the pluck-and-pick inserts.

Anyone done this before care to share the dimensions of the cutouts? I'm thinking 4x6 squares to fit chunky divers.

project complete...now starts the hard part - organizing the watches.

No matter how smart the watch which is created in the future, I don't think it will ever replace the automatic watches we enjoy. Btw, where can I find those vintage pocket watches?

These are utility cases and often come with industry standard "pick and pluck" foam that allow you to customize the foam to your purpose:

They are pre-cut so that you can easily measure out and just pick and pluck out those that you don't need. Not too difficult to find refills too, you could deck out your entire drawer with this foam in your wardrobe if you wanted to

I'm cool with Orient.. had always been an advocate of affordable quality watches.

No mushrooms like aries gold and sturhling for me though..
